Mai lay in the bed in the palace's infirmary in a helpless rage. Her injuries, while not fatal, had been deliberately cruel. Azula had known exactly what she was doing when she'd aimed low on her stomach instead of for the heart. A bolt of lightning to her heart would surely have killed her without the Waterbender immediately on hand to heal it, but a blow between her hipbones - that had been designed for one purpose. Pain. I'm a bit of a sap, but I tend to write depressing, dark romances. I'm a huge fan of non-canon pairings and I really, really enjoy randomly bizarre relationships. Zuko/Ty Lee comes to mind, as does Oliver Wood/Ginny Weasley. I love looking at fanart, but as I'm not an artist, I always feel weird commenting, since I can't offer concrit of any sort.
